Exquisite Art Nouveau wax seal cast in gilt bronze as a preening heron, its long neck curved gracefully over finely detailed feathered wings. The seal rests in its original fitted leather case with a green velvet interior, the silk lining stamped "A. Lancel, Nantes." The matrix is engraved with an "MB" monogram.
